Jamaica
Between her rugged mountains and sundrenched beaches, emerald jungles and impossibly blue Caribbean waters, the island of Jamaica is both a study in contrasts and a living lesson in geography. Jamaica's legendary beaches will truly live up to everything you've ever heard. From world-famous Doctor's Cave Beach in Montego Bay, to the quiet coves of North Coast near Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay, to the endless expanses of Negril's famous 7-mile beach, you'll never get over the softness of the sand, or the soothing hush of the surf lapping against the shore. But Jamaica also boasts one of the richest and most varied landscapes in the Caribbean, with waterfalls, springs, rivers, and streams all flowing from the mountains down to the sea, so be sure to leave time for activities like river rafting, waterfall climbing and horseback riding, Of course, if you'd rather just rock the day away in a hammock under a palm tree like you've done so many times in your imagination, feel free to live the dream.
Montego Bay
Located on the northwest coast, Montego Bay is nestled amid mountaintop jungles and framed by miles of tropical beaches. Most visitors to Jamaica fly into MoBay at Sangster International Airport and then transfer to their final destination. Known for its beautiful beaches, many restaurants and bars, and vibrant nightlife along the MoBay Hip Strip, there's something for everyone in this lively Island city.
Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios is the main cruise port to the Island, and offers a vast array of activities for people of varied interests. There's great shopping, picture-perfect beaches, golf, polo and of course, the world-famous Dunn's River Falls just waiting to be climbed. Just west of Ocho Rios, you'll find the resort town of Runaway Bay, one of Jamaica's most popular destinations, and home to Breezes Runaway Bay.
